For lent i have decided to give up make-up. This is going to be very difficult but i feel like in the end i will learn a lot from it. I always use make-up to try and hide my flaws but i want to be able to love how i am without having to use make-up and have more self confidence.
God tells us that we do not need make-up to show our beauty. “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” -1 Peter 3:3-4
As hard as this may be for me, my favorite verse tells me “All things are possible with God.” -Matthew 19:26
I am more then ready for this challenge!!
